About Early Wellness Radar
We test the marketing claims behind portable air conditioners and personal cooling gadgets, and report what we actually find — good or bad.
What we do
Every summer, dozens of near-identical "personal AC" and "portable cooler" gadgets flood social media with dramatic before/after temperature claims. Some of them are genuine, well-engineered products from real manufacturers. Many are not. We research the company behind each product, check independent sources (BBB, Trustpilot, consumer-protection agencies, technical reviewers) for documented problems, and publish what we find directly on the product page — including when the honest answer is "we can't recommend this."
How we make money
Early Wellness Radar is operated by Digital Media Innovations, LLC. Some links on this Site are Amazon Associates affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we write: we chose the products we link to because we could verify they're real, well-made, and honestly marketed, not because of the commission rate. See our Disclosure page for full detail.
What we don't do
We don't accept payment to feature a product positively, we don't publish manufacturer-written "reviews" as if they were our own, and we don't hide red flags to protect an affiliate relationship. If a product has a documented problem, it's on the page.
